Ideal use of the Analog Ground and best way to use it on the Teensy boards??

Hi, I need some help understanding the Ideal use of the Analog Ground pins and best way to use it on the Teensy boards. I have read a lot of mixed uses for the ANG GND and I am not sure how I can best use it in my audio projects. Is it more suited when I am using the LINE IN and MIC or when I have a lot of PULSE waves coming into the circuit. Pardon the novice question and kindly direct me to a resource or a link to an already answered question. Thanks in advance!

general understanding in seeing some posts ...

use AGND for Analog signal ground as it has some isolation from digital ground to eliminate some noise digital circuit usage may present on an otherwise shared ground.

AGND on Teensy 3.2, 3.5, 3.6 is meant to help with the analog input pins. It's unrelated to the audio shield (which is all digital audio signals as far as Teensy is concerned), except for the specific case if you add a pot to the audio shield.
