Soldering R25 potentiometer

Hi every one, and thanks you for sharing your knowledge,

Maybe a stupid question, but I am about to solder the potentiometer on the GRBLHAL 2.07, and asking myself, if there is a sens of direction of the component.

I think the white silk-screened arrow indicates the wiper starts at the right hand pad for fully anticlockwise...
 
Pictures of the assembled board on Tindy show a different form of potentiometer and judging by the PCB layout it is probably impossible to misalign that sort of pot.

Examination of that type of pot indicates that the hole in the centre (center for the Americans out there), apex of the triangle is the wiper.
Similarly the centre pin of the vertical type of pot is the wiper.
I suspect that the centre pin of the three pins on the PCB is common with the pin at the apex of the triangle.
If this is so it is impossible to get the alignment wrong, any way will do.
