Has anyone seen the Teensy 4.1 ETHERNET_KIT available in Canada?

    Hi,

I am about to order a few Teensy 4.1's and both places that I could order from (DigiKey and Robotshop) sell the Teensy but not the ETHERNET_KIT, and say that they can't get one. I'd rather buy from a store that has this available, and I like the PJRC kit as it's plug and play.

Has anyone seen these in Canada and if so, where?

    Thanks

    MarkD

I just ordered the PCB (the original version) from OshPark and picked up the bits and pieces from DigiKey. If you want one of the spare boards, PM me your mailing address and I'll pop it in the mail.

    Hi Silverlock,
I just saw your message! I didn't realise that OSHPARK had the pcb available.

    I'll send you a PM!

    Thanks

But the Teensy 4.1 isn't in stock, that means I have to buy it somewhere else, plus pay $10 to ship a $3.60 part. (Ethernet kit)
I was hoping to buy both items from someplace in Canada.

I did not realize that T4.1 is Out of Stock.
I guess Paul will get soon replacement, but if you need urgently, yes you are right.

It says on the website that they won't be available until at least June due to the chip shortage. Both DigiKey and Robotshop have the Teensy4.1, but not that particular ethernet kit.

I published 2 designs on OSH Park. They use different Magjack parts.

The current board uses Cetus J1B1211CCD. This is the version PJRC currently sells.

The older design used Wiznet RB1-125BAG1A.

Make sure buy the correct Magjack for the PCB you get. Even though they look nearly identical and either could probably fit on both boards, the pinout is different. It absolutely will not work if you solder the wrong Magjack.

Looks like Digikey has both Magjacks in stock.
