Hello all. I'm wondering if anyone here can recommend an LED driver that has individual PWM outputs like the TLC5940. Unfortunately the TLC5940 DIP package is no longer available or else I would use that. I have 20 LEDs that I need to individually control the brightness of each. Any recommendations?

For a hardware solution, I recall the Adafruit PWM/Servro driver is an I2C device that supports 16 LEDs or Servos. Using I2C commands, I believe you can very the PWM parameters for each of the 16 outputs. You can also power the LEDs with voltages up to 6v. There are 6 I2C address selects, so you could chain up to 62 boards to provide 992 PWM outputs.

In looking up the links I see they have a SPI device that would allow you to control up to 24 outputs that is good for LEDs, but not Servos:
