    USB audio / Windows 10

I am seeing variations in the audio output level of a PCM2900 codec when used on various Windows 10 laptops. This is all with the same application sending the same audio. Any thoughts?

On the product page of the PCM2900, under Features, it is stated that the chip supports "Human Interface Device (HID) Volume Control and Mute Control".
Could it be that on these various Windows 10 laptops, the output levels are differently set at this properties page?

Thanks Paul. I always make sure that the volume sliders are full up before comparison.

    Could it be power differences?

Just curious; which application are you using?

And how is the PCM2900 circuit actually implemented? According to one of the "typical circuit connections" as mentioned in the datasheet?
