Pogo pin usage, sourcing and dimensions for Teensy 4.0 USB host and under side pads
I want to use the USB Host and under-side solder pads on a Teensy 4.0. Available breakout boards use pogo pins per this link: https://www.pjrc.com/breakout-board-for-teensy-4-0/.
I have not used these components before and I have questions:
1. I need to reconcile the PJRC directives regarding pogo pin height for the Teensy 4.0 breakout board. Specs say to use 12mm to 12.5mm. Digikey has three different categories relating to this, but I'm not sure which one I should match up to make sure I get correct components. Help?
2. The breakout board site has an old link to components, but doesn't offer dimensions. What is the hole size for the the necessary pogo pins?

Try here for pogo pins:- https://www.mill-max.com/

That still leaves me short on exact search criteria regarding dimensions. I have sources, I just need know exactly what to get.

If you scroll down, you should see this:

I'm pretty sure the pogo pins used on those boards (in 2019) were PGTH1200 and PGTH1250.

Thanks...I'm seeking to use Digikey. My only search criteria is maximum working height between 12.5. and 12 mm. They have 12.22 and 12.20mm. The two resulting gives two different units...I guess one is spring loaded on both sides. The other is only loaded on one side, but has a much longer tail than what I saw used with the breakout. I'm not 100% sure this is a correct unit.
I'm not familiar enough with pogo pins to know what the point of the tail is. Will I just clip off the extra tail length?
