Build my own audio adapter board

I need to integrate Teensy audio adapter board on my board. Does the audio adapter board you are selling come with any pre-loaded code/setting? If I follow your schematic from this link and buy all the components, would it work directly?

If you want to build something like this, it would be good to at least take a look at the datasheet.
The SGTL has no built-in memory.
