MotionCal for Linux doesn't work on Ubuntu 20.04

This may be stating the overly obvious, but the 2 things you can try to resolve this are somehow getting the old libpng library, or try to rebuild the program from its source code.

Or run it on the older Linux distro, or Windows.

It's very unlikely Motioncal will be updated or maintained, as the hardware is no longer available (and not expected to ever return).

Fwiw, the hardware is still available here: https://www.sparkfun.com/products/13995 (I recently bought a few there).

I took a run at building it, but maybe didn't try hard enough. Copying the library from 16.04 seems like another reasonable thing to try.
