Hi all,
I have a T4 and Audio shield, and I need to connect it to a speaker using the line out of the audio shield. I am planning on using the LM4861MX/NOPB power amplifier to amplify the audio shield line out output and using a 3.3V supply rail, but I need a speaker to play the sound. The requirements for the speaker are that it should be able to play recorded speech clips loud enough to sound like someone speaking. The speaker needs to be relatively small in size. I am not quite sure how the wattage of the speaker translates into volume, so I am not sure what I should be looking for with regards to power, hence the question. From my searches on part stores so far it would seem that most speakers have a frequency range of >200Hz. The male speaking voice is about >100Hz, which makes those speakers unsuitable. I can't seem to find a speaker with a low enough frequency range.
Could anyone recommend me a suitable speaker for the project?
