I plan on using a teensy 3.5 as a Serial data logger that handles multiple UARTS and protocols and sends the data to USB-COM ports to be handled by different applications. I have tried adapting the USB stack to be able to provide more COM-Ports. I tried adding a 4th port to the triple serial configuration and windows can recognize it, but when i try to send data over it, the teensy stops working until reset. Is there a list of things i need to modify in case i missed something or is there a different reason only 3 Serial interfaces are actually implemented?
