    Teensy to ESP32 for BLE

I have an extra ESP32 module. I was hoping to send messages from Teensy 3.2 via serial or ___________ ?? The ESP32 will only be sending MIDI messages via BLE that were received from the Teensy wired directly to the ESP32. I may have it do other tasks later. I don't mind using a separate ble module, but I have ESP32's... Unless a separate module would have lower latency?
So the question is, how would you suggest communicating between the microcontrollers? I already have an Esp32 sending MIDI messages via BLE; I'm just wondering about the preferred way to communicate between the two.

Frank, treat me like I don't know which end of the crayon to use :-) any examples of a cold and schematic come to mind for this that you like?

Hm I have a pretty old board and code.. from 2016... for ESP8266.
But perhaps it's enough to get the idea: https://github.com/FrankBoesing/FlexiBoard
It was for WLAN and the ESP "AT MODEM" std firmware, but the connections are the same.

But there will be newer and better examples on the web.
