Hello people,
for a while now I've been tinkering with the Teensy 4.0 to use as a custom USB MIDI controller with Virtual DJ using potentiometers, OLED displays, RGB LEDs and a bunch of buttons and knobs. I want to encourage everyone with a passion for music to be expand their knowledge with electronics, microcontrollers and MIDI to build the tools for a better DJ set. I have already posted on VDJ forums on how to get a simple potentiometer recognized in the software, see http://www.virtualdj.com/forums/243...roller_using_USB_MIDI_and_the_Teensy_4_0.html for that.
Now I know that this is a pretty simple function, but to me a proof of concept. It has taken me quite a lot of forum reads to get to this point, so if anybody is doing the same please do leave your feedback/comments/questions here, I am happy to help you out. There will be a a lot of trouble ahead of me, since I'm planing on implementing OLED displays, RGB LEDs and more for my final design. So far so good though.
Greetings, Fabian
