high frequency mosfet driving... gate resistors?

So I'm driving a few 2n7000 mosfets at a frequency from 31.5khz to just a hair over 10mhz (with a 4.0 if that matters) right now I'm just driving the mosfet gate pin directly with a teensy pin. I have an issue with the signal bleeding through when its not supposed to. In my searches I found that there should be a gate resistor which will help with interference, and gate ringing etc. and from what I'm looking at, at lower frequencies the resistance isn't so important, just the fact that its there, but in my frequencies it does matter. is there a rule of thumb, or even better a simple formula that I can use? also other than a gate resistor are there any other things I should be doing on the circuit? gate voltage is 3.3 and the supply voltage is 700mv. Thanks folks!
