Teensy 4.x, Diode and Triple Can Board Problem

I am a long time Teensy user.
Most of my projects are single items on premaproto boards and I need to use USB for debugging, uploads, and general output.
I add a Shottkey Diode between VUSB and VIN (after cutting the trace). In the past I used a 1N5817 (1A vf 0.5 v) But have now switched to a smt PMEG2010AEBF (1A, VF=10-510mv SOD532 package(super tiny)) .
When using SKPang's Tennsy 4.0 Triple Can Board I get no action on any can port. When I directly connect VUSB to VIN everything works. I have tried several 4.0 and see the same result. It doesn't matter which diode I use.
This is the first time I have seen this on one of my projects.
Anyone have any ideas??.

Did you put the diode in the right way? (Bar on diode is on the Vin side)

How are you powering it? USB only? Or do you have external DC also (J3)? At any time, do you have both at the same time?

What voltage do you read at VUSB & VIN?

@TeensyWolf:
I checked and the VUsb/Vin is 4.44/4.10. That look low so I plugged it in to a second hub. now 5.19/4.85.
I then looked at the 1st hub an saw the power in was not plugged in, just running on power from the host.
I plugged in power and now have 5.24/4.90.
Smacks self on forehead!!! :mad:

Thanks for your help. A second set of eyes is always appreciated. :eek:
