transfer file from SD CARD to computer

I'm using a teensy 4.0 and an ILI9341 screen. The project that I am working on requires that I capture the image on the screen and transfer it to a computer.
I have already researched some information on how to take a screen shot and store it on a sd card but no info on how to transfer it from the sd card to computer.

Is it possible to transfer the pic data to computer via the USB connection in the same way like a sensor would send a voltage measurement to the serial monitor?
However instead of the serial monitor store on some location on my PC?
