I have an outdoor 16x32 matrix display that runs on a Teensy3.2 MCU. I'd like to be able to remote program it using Bluetooth or wifi. I had a USB cable sticking out of the display but the salty ocean air corroded it in no time.
I played around with HC05 Bluetooth with Arduino UNO but with very mixed results. I could communicate to the Arduino but could not download (or as Arduino says "upload"), even after putting in a reset circuit to mimic the UNO download from a USB port.
Any ideas? I have lots of Arduino's around, some ESP devices, and one Teensy. Simple is best (eg Arduino Nano or ProMini).
