I need to play 5 audios simultaneously but with independent outputs.
The first solution is to make a sandwich with three audio cards and with this I manage to have 6 independent channels and problem solved.
But I saw a post by [Frank B] who managed to play AC3 files over SPDIF and this is a much better solution since you don't need more than an RCA connector to send the digital audio to the 5.1ch receiver.

I did the tests using the WavFilePlayer example and using the SPDIF output on pin 22, and it works perfectly but only with stereo files. AC3 and DTS files only reproduce noise.
Was there a change or removal of teensy's ability to play AC3/DTS in the last 7 years since SPDIF was implemented in Teensy?
