I am experimenting with the latest KurtE/MTP_Teensy + Teensyduino 1.57-beta1 on a Teensy 4.1.
I am working with an SD card formatted as FAT32 and has 490+ files in root. The files on the SD card were created over a period of time with a logger app that I wrote for T3.5 (SdFAT 1.1.4). The SD card is a SanDisk Ultra 32GB.
My issue is that running MTP_Teensy Example_3_simple_SD.ino, Windows Explorer view of the Portable Device shows only ~60 of the 490+ files. Same result for PC-side app built in C# with MediaDevices package.
SD card in my laptop SD card slot, Win10 File Explorer shows all 490+ files.
Insert the SD card back into the T3.5 running my logger app, I can create additional files without a problem.
I'm a bit puzzled by the MTP behavior if Win10 can see all the files. Am I up against some limit in SdFAT or the MTP implementation? Is there anything I can check to debug this?
Thanks in advance
