Meaning of LED blink controlled by mkl02z32vfg4 in Teensy 4.1

I was recently testing my new PCB and used Teensy 4.1 in it.

After a while I found that I was not able to upload the code into it and during this time I noticed LED (D4) was blinking twice, then long delay, then again double blink and delay and so on. In schematic, this LED is controlled by IC mkl02z32vfg4 (U2).
Another thing that I noticed that main chip was too hot so removed the Teensy and plug it to computer. Since then it never powered up no LED no heating nothing. I found 3.3v and ground are shorted. Reason why it blew is still a mystery but anyone can tell the meaning of this LED blink and what could cause this ? Any document related to this will also do.

    Thank You.

2 blinks means it can't communicate with the IMXRT chip, the JTAG port isn't responding.

Documentation on the blink code is on the page for that chip. Scroll down to "Troubleshooting & Diagnostic Blink Codes" at the end of the page.
