I am looking for feedback on a design.
I need to get 4 cat5e (or similar) cables out of a Teensy 4.1 to drive a large LED array with 16 data signals. Using an OctoWS2811 Adaptor board it is easy to get 2 Cat5e cables out. For the other 2, I am planning to run short jumper wires to another OctoWS2811 Adaptor secured right next to the first one.
1. As long as I use the standard pins (2,14,7,8,6,20,21,5) used for the Adaptor board that the teensy 4.1 directly attaches to, can I use any of the other pins for the second OctoWS2811 Adaptor board?
2. Will some work better to give a cleaner signal or make the soldering easier?
3. Are there other considerations that I am overlooking?
I will also have to connect Vin and Ground, of course.
