Teensy 4.1 DDP with octows2811 example

Anyone have an example of how to get DDP (http://www.3waylabs.com/ddp/) to work together with OctoWS2811? I would like to switch my lights from esp32 using wled to teensy (much more capable platform). See an example using artnet but that is just packeted dmx which is really slow and bloated for controlling 10k leds

Today is the first time I've heard of Distributed Display Protocol.

I see the spec's "last updated" date is 2 days ago, but no version number or info. The references section has links to github repositories which look to be 6 and 8 years old.

Are there products or well know projects actively using this protocol?

Yeah it is used in a lot of commercial products as well as wled, xlights, vixen, falcon player...

Oh and the spec hasn't changed, the version is in the header flags. The example code was updated finally to show the flags that are used
