Teensy 4.0 blinks flashes four times, is it dead?

I had my Teensy connected and while moving it, it started blinking or flashing red and stopped working. I connected it to a PC while holding the button down. It blinks or flashes red four times repeatedly. The CPU gets hot when it’s connected. I tried holding the button down for 15+ seconds. Different USB cables did not help. The Teensy does not get detected by Windows. Is the Teensy dead?

Not seeing enough info to say?

Is anything else hot on the Teensy? Ideally the 1062 MCU should be warm and safe to touch - not hot.

Do the 3.3 V pins measure 3.3 V?

Is anything else connected or been soldered? Could anything have shorted during 'while moving it'?

4 blinks means it's failing somewhere between the main chip (U1) and flash memory (U3). Maybe inspect that part of the board with a magnifier and bright light.
