For Teensy 3.2 arduino IDE 2.0 no serial port visible

I installed Arduino IDE 2 today, and followed the instructions to get the Teensy loader all setup and the process went fine.

Somewhere in the process of configuring the port, turning on the terminal, choosing the 3.2 and compiling my code the IDE crashed with no warning.

I started it up again, and there was no serial port available in the menu options. I rebooted the computer assuming that the crash was holding the port open, but it's still not available (please see attached image). I can successfully get to the port in IDE 1.8



Any suggestions as to how to get my port back?

Just a guess, maybe use the Boards Manager to uninstall and then install Teensy again.

There isn't really an unistall option, but I re-installed and it didn't resolve the issue.

Next step would be to uninstall and re-install the entirety of the 2.0 UI.

This is an uninstall option, but it's sort of hidden.

Hover your mouse over "INSTALLED".



It will change to "UNINSTALL".



When you click, the Teensy software will be uninstalled.
