Teensy 4.0 USB signals accessible like on LC or 3.2?

Hello,

in my latest project I can't insert a USB cable (not enough space) so I'd like to access the usb signals like on teensy LC or 3.2.

Are these the pins? (see pic)

Thanks for this really great project and community!

No. Those are to the USB Host pins. That is to hook up a connector to plug in USB devices into to talk to the Teensy... (2nd USB port).

Difficult decisions has to be made about which features to make available in such a small size Teensy 4.0 circuit board.

Teensy 4.1 brings out much capability with the extra space.

Hello,
I had the exact same problem.

If you look at the parts placement picture of the Teensy 4.0 on the PJRC web page, you can actually see which vias are connected to the USB port before the Vanished in the multilayer PCB.
Problem than is the very tiny size of the vias and you have to have a very small soldering tip to be able to connect a wire to those vias.

It can be done but is tricky. the two vias are those right of the Q1 letters.
