Teensy 4.1 On/Off Pin Controlled by ESP32

Hi folks, I'm currently working on a relatively large multi-mcu project that uses a Teensy 4.1 in a sensor/computation unit, and an ESP32 as a low power telemetry unit. In low power states I was wondering if I could completely turn off the Teensy by pulling its On/Off pin to ground via a MOSFET controlled by an ESP32, and then turn it back on at a later time. Has anyone ever attempted something similar before?

I was wondering if the following MOSFET would work? I've been having trouble finding a MOSFET with a 3.3V logic level gate threshold and a relatively low Rds at Vds = 3.3V.
MOSFET: BSS123
ESP32: ESP32-S3-WROOM-1U

Any and all help is appreciated. Thank you!
