I've been struggling recently with my Teensy 4.0 with audio shield and got stuck with cracking noises from any file including example files from WavFilePlayer. The sound seems to be distorted and slowed down. I've attached example recording that shows the problem. The code was taken right from the exaple for audio library, but I'm posting it below anyway. Thanks for any advices on this matter.
