Teensy 4.1 not turning on and heating up

I accidentally connected 12V to one of the pins on the Teensy and now it won't turn on. When I plug it in the USB the part circled red in the picture is heating up. I also measured some voltages and resistances that are also show in the picture. Is there a possible way of just soldering off one of those chips and making it work without overvoltage protection, because I need it for a school project and I don't think another one will get to me in time.

I have already tried holding the programming button for 15 seconds and the light didn't light up.

EDIT:
Also nothing looks visibly burnt or smells of burnt components.

Thanks in advance for all help.

It's highly likely that the Teensy is damaged. 5V will blow up an I/O pin, 12V would likely cause even more damage. Best bet is to get another one. You would need specialized equipment to replace the chip, assuming that that was the only problem. Maybe you can get expedited shipping for a new one?
