Yeah just needed to connect GND to the crystal pads. Remove the wires that I attached when I tried inverting the USB signal wires. And getting 3.3v back to the board. DOUBLE CHECK everything before getting a board printed. Simple issue like forgetting a GND connection was enough for me to loose...

Yes that part from adafruit is confusing as hell. At first when you said that they were wrong, I just looked at the order of the usb connector and thought that is was wrong. So I flipped the wires, then I got the failed device descriptor. But then constantin challenged us, so I looked over them...

Well that was a stupid statement on my behalf. Of course the crystal needs to come up after the bootloader is send from the minitan or the MK20 cant communicate over USB to receive the firmware from teensy loader. grounding the crystal still leaves Windows complaining about failed device...

Okay so I swapped the pins (cut off the end of a usb cable and soldered straight to the board). I have some progress... Initially pc does not detect anything. Press PROG and the device then is enumerated, however as an Unknown USB device, Descriptor Request Failed. And the MK is not...
