I ended up getting it working using the technique/code outlined by onehorse in this thread: https://forum.pjrc.com/threads/40858-Teensy-3-6-I2S-input-without-board I used 11 for BCLK, 12 for LRCL and 13 for DOUT.

Did you ever end up finding a solution? We have the same microphone now and are trying to get it to work.
