Thanks Keith. What value resistor would you suggest from gate to ground bearing in mind I will have 3.3v signal?

Can anyone recommend a MOSFET to use on a teensy 3.2 board bearing in mind its 3.3v limitation on the MOSFET gate. I wish to switch on a small string of 12V lcd's with PWM capability. TIA Len
