I love to help with applied math stuff, especially 2D vector algebra and versors/unit quaternions/bivectors describing rotations and orientations (the implemented math is exactly the same for the four components), most recently this one. These would be much nicer if we could use MathJax here.
The commonly used free Xenforo module for this is Math, but its discussion indicates there might be some issues with some versions of Xenforo; I can't tell which version is used here.
I fully understand there may be technical and other considerations (like added data per page load, added server maintenance burden) that makes it unfeasible to support here, and only wanted to point out it could be useful if feasible to install and maintain. It might be useful for Paul and Robin if others who find it useful could say so too; or I might be the only one!
(I personally can do with just Unicode text "graphics", too; I even have a helper tool page I often use to auto-copy characters to clipboard. That one is fully self-contained, doesn't need a network connection, and is in public domain/CC0-1.0, so feel free to use any way you like if you want.)
