I upgraded one of my systems to the beta of OS X 10.11. Seems that the Teensy loader 1.23-beta1 does not want to upload the sketches:
"Please press the PROGRAM MODE BUTTON on your Teensy to upload your sketch."
It works using the button / shorting Program / GND pins though.
Update:
Teensyduino 1.23 Beta #2 / Arduino 1.6.4 has the same problems.
