Game Controller Question....

Hello.

I am working on creating a handheld gaming system (like a gameboy). I am following this guide: https://thingiverse-production-new.s3.amazonaws.com/assets/9c/a8/d1/8f/01/Controller_Schematic.pdf

Thing is, I purchased a Teensy 3.1

Can I just choose my own points on the board? Is Teensy 3.1 still capable of this?

If the none of those buttons are analog it should be able to work as drawn, assuming it interfaces to the Pi as a USB device. If it's doing it via some other interface it will still be possible but may take a little bit of work in the code to everything lined up.

Note that 'as drawn' in this case means' wired to the same LOGICAL pins, not the same physical ones since while similar I believe there are some differences so you'd need to check where input one actually is on a board and then wire to the input one of the T3. If you can link to the code for the thing that may make it clearer what it's up to and if it's trying to do some clever that is in fact hardware dependent.
