Thanks @jmarsh. So I'll have to keep things like that. It's not so critical, the teensy is not supposed to reboot or to be flashed in normal operation.

Would it make a difference using teensy4_usbhost.h instead?

Hi, I've attached a remote FTDI to the USBHost on a Teensy 4.1 board. Using USBHost_t36.h, works great. But due to the power consumption of the device connected to the FTDI, I'm not sending the VHST but the main power supply on the USB cable...
