Hi all. For the past few years I have been wire wrapping my projects and prototypes and quite happy to do so. I really like the process and what I consider to be the plus benefits of using this process.
Just recently I purchased from eBay a Denver Gardner 14R2F battery powered tool. I am looking for instructions and bits for it. I actually have another one in factory new condition on the way (it was a steel on eBay). But I have no instructions. With the new one coming I will have a second battery pack and one charger.
The battery pack in the first one is likely done as there are white crystals showing and some corrosion on the power connections. I know this is a long gone company product but I have been amazed by the depth of knowledge on this forum and I hope that I can find instructions and perhaps some information which would lead me to be able to replicate the battery pack. It looks like a bunch of thick coin cells fastened together and covered in a plastic sheath.
It would be interesting to try and replace this with a suitable lithium battery stack and of course with a new charger.
In any case if anyone has anything to relate about this tool I would love to hear it. I am more than willing to purchase any bits or battery pack that will fit this unit.
Oh, and the reason I have purchased these relics is that I am contemplating limited commercial runs of a meter project I have been working on and also have limited funds at this time. Something I think most people can relate to these days. And I enjoy wire wrapping connections.
Regards
