I am using the recording code below and it works fine as it is but if I take away all the implications of Playing it breaks the code and doesn't record anything. My device only needs to record audio to the sd but it does not have any speakers or anything to playback anyway. Is there anyway to clean up the code and take away anything to do with playback on the device or should I just leave it and move on?
