I saw on the web page that Paul was working on a new SPDIF driver.
Would it be possible to include a compile switch to make it serve as a AES-3 driver also. The differences in the format of SPDIF and AES-2 are very minor. There is a header byte and the meaning of a couple of fields are changed. If those fields were blanked, it would be fully compliant.
