two outputs for sd extension.

hey guys, I've been working on cutting a sd extension in two and then connecting it on a bread board to then be able to have two outputs at the end. I have done this :

I tested all the connections and it should work but it doesn't and I don't understand why. Can someone help me? thx

If all the connections are correct, and it doesn't work, then it may just be too long. The built-in SD card on T4.1 is quite fast. and you generally can't extend something like that as far as you're trying to do here, with a ribbon cable. Does the remote SD socket need to be so far away from the on-board socket, and does the cable need to go through the breadboard?

to then be able to have two outputs at the end.

Those wires are really long, maybe too much for 50 MHz?

But I'm mostly concerned about "two outputs". Does that mean you're trying to connect 2 different SD cards to the same 8 wires? Pretty sure that wouldn't work.

I'd be inclined to believe that ribbon is too long for 50MHz, try 8MHz or shorten to a few inches?
