Has anyone used the WM8960 with the Audio System Design Tool? I guess I'm asking, does the WM8731 drivers work with the WM8960? Is it just some register tweaking, or are there fundamental differences?

I want to use the SGTL5000, but I like the build in speaker amp in the WM8960.

Comparing the datasheets of the WM8731 and the WM8960, I highly doubt whether the WM8731 driver works with the WM8960.
Here is the register map of the WM8731:

That's a huge difference in number of registers. On top of that: the registers of the WM8731 are 16-bit wide; the WM8960 registers are 8-bit wide.
So, I think changes are low that the WM8731 driver works with the WM8960.

Thanks Paul. I'm fairly confident I can re-map the registers, but it's the I2S protocol that I don't have any experience in. Looks like some late nights ahead! Woot!
