Teensy 5 release

Hello community,

I'm wondering if there is any plan for releasing the Teensy 5 soon?
I'm developing the product based on Teeny 4 and I want to start designing the one single board.


Please advice .

Seen suppliers quoting 2023 for the delivery date.

Can't get any parts from NXP, ST and Microchip.

I'm also very interested in a Teensy 5, I love the 4 but hope the 5 will be out sometime soon. I'd love to hear about any plans for a new board.
 
Normally I don't comment on future products, but I can in this case confirm no new Teensy is currently in development. The focus for 2024 is software, both new features and catching up to a massive backlog of contributions and suggestions and unresolved issues that have piled up during the pandemic and 2021-2023 parts shortages.

I know that's not the exciting answer you wanted, but hopefully a boring but honest answer is better than no answer at all.
