Pin 1 is FlexPWM1 pin, you'd have to read the reference manual to find which registers hold the state of the outputs for that module (and if it's possible to trigger an interrupt when it changes).
 
This sort of synchronization at high speed is probably best done with DMA, though its complex to set up and you have to read quite a lot to figure if and how it can be arranged. Other approaches might be using some DQ 'flops externally, such as 74LVC174/374, which clock on the rising edge.
 
Agree with BriComp, just adding a wire to receive the signal on another pin is probably the easiest way.

Sure, it could be done better by an interrupt from the timer, but that's quite a steep learning curve.
